Asymmetria Desk Lamp

The Asymmetria fluorescent desk lamp reflects improvements in lighting technology that have lead to increased output for compact fluorescent bulbs. This "new" Asymmetria utilizes a higher output 18-watt compact fluorescent bulb that produces a 330 footcandles at 12 inches. When compared to normal room light at approximately 20 to 60 footcandles, this light minimizes eyestrain and provides more light for reading, writing, or other activities. The Asymmetria is also constructed with metal rivets at each pivot point on the arm instead of on the compression joints that can wear over time.
